Meet Florence
Holder of a master's degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Montreal and a member of the Ordre des orthophonistes et audiologistes du Québec (OOAQ) since 2014, Florence has over 10 years of experience in the field of speech-language pathology. She primarily works with preschool and school-aged children.
Florence deeply values human connection and the helping relationship, two aspects of speech-language pathology that she is particularly passionate about. This is evident in her caring approach. She is always attentive to the needs of both the child and the parents.
Having worked in school settings (language classes) and in daycare environments, Florence is sensitive to the daily functional impacts experienced by children with language or communication difficulties. She therefore aims to collaborate with parents and the various professionals involved with the child to optimize interventions.
In her office, Florence will engage in play with the child while working on specific goals. In daycare settings, you’ll find Florence in action, leading stimulating activities for the group of children. Working with educators is also one of her great interests!
Main areas of practice: developmental language disorder, speech sound disorder, autism, written language disorder
